On the 12th of April, 2010 confirmation was received by Sunseeker Energy that the preliminary international examination of our revolutionary sun tracking transducer had been completed.  Of the thousands of patents relevant to this field, the examiner has queried only one minor claim, and it’s two dependent claims as being similar to an existing patent.

Sunseeker Energy can confirm that the similarities of these claims are not based on the engineering methodologies used between the two patents. Sunseeker Energy considers that it can effectively amend the language of its claims in order to clarify the description, making our international patent application complete.

We are thrilled to get such a positive examination result, as it clears the way for us to exploit our patent for 25 years, knowing that the cost savings our systems can provide against similarly accurate tracking systems are second to none in all the jurisdictions covered by the international patent treaties.
