When will the Documents from the AGM be available for viewing?
The documents will be up in due course as there is procedure that needs to occur before these documents can be made public.
The latest newsletter highlights a flat panel tracking application. Is the focus still on CPV?
Sunseeker has not moved its focus from CPV technology, instead we are expanding on our product range by developing the elements of Sunseeker’s systems that have always been applicable to flat panel products. Flat panel applications are merely an execution of a long-standing strategy that we are now in a position to pursue. This is largely due to the success of the engineering operation in developing CPV products.
As a company, we feel it is important to extract the highest potential from our products, in the case of Flat panel tracking this means mating our tracking system to a frame that holds traditional panels. We have always believed that the highly robust and efficient characteristics that our trackers exhibit place us well to compete very successfully against existing market players. As the cost of our trackers is also low compared to our competitors we can value add to any flat panel installation. This has been largely due to us value engineering the tracking system as part of the dollar/watt peak cost of the CPV systems, rather than an isolated engineering exercise.
The interest in the CPV product continues to be higher than our expectations, and this development should in no way be construed in any other way.
When will we be able to view the “Web Portal”?
The information portal will be available with limited functionality late December, unfortunately due the remote location of our testing regime, we have had a few complications with the mobile internet network and the low speeds with which it can transmit data. This is not problematic for sending raw engineering data but deciding to go real time has provided some technical challenges we did not foresee. This is being rectified and we will have full functionality as soon as we can. As you can no doubt understand, the real time web service is a mixture of engineering and marketing disciplines, with the engineers being required to keep their main focus on product improvement and evaluation.
The aim of delivering this system is to deploy it across multiple sites of interest, to help enhance our interaction with potential customers and shareholders. The first time we do something is always difficult.
What are we hoping to achieve with the Flat panel test?
Our preliminary testing indicates that we will achieve a 25-30% increase in daily output for an increase in system cost of under 10%. We hope to give people a chance to verify this for themselves in real time.
Market research – mentioned “ongoing conversations’ with government representatives, financiers and 2010 sales tactics – is this in relation to a push into the US market?
The US market development is well underway, and we regularly talk to relevant stakeholders to ensure we are best placed within any particular marketplace. 2010 sales tactics do indeed continue to involve the current push into the US marketplace, but they are by no means the only market in which we are operating.
A Supply chain in Thailand was mentioned. Is this in regard to manufacturing in these countries? Are there currently manufacturing facilities in these areas, or contracts with factories for manufacture? And if so, are there still plans to establish manufacturing in the US?
Supply chains are constantly under review to achieve the best prices possible for our customers. This will translate in future to the best value addition for shareholders. Thai supply is not due for the American market, as America will be supplied by American produced goods. We contract out non critical aspects of both component manufacture and assembly.
Lastly, back in April, “Preparations begin for Underwriters Laboratory Testing”. Just wondering at what stage we are there. Has UL commenced any testing?
This process is very involved, and every effort is being made to expedite approvals.
Can Sunseeker take advantage of the growth in PV installations being currently reported?

as well as allowing us to collect some very pertinent engineering data to maintain our place in the Market. The Tracked Flat Panel Product family is emerging as an important design for SSE, as it allows us to service customers who are not ready to become early adopters of our flagship CPV product. The systems we are producing allow most any industrial customer to gain extra revenues from technologies with which they are comfortable, which translates into better farm rates of return.
